Project Summary: Although I'm a proponent of reuse/recycle/remodel, the original home had run its course.  With the prospect of starting a family, the Goering's decided to do so in a brand new home.  The directive was to keep it small, efficient, and as Green as possible. The house footprint is simple with open spaces and lots of light and a front porch to enjoy the neighborhood. The key to this home's success is flexible spaces to grow with the family along with maximizing every available nook and cranny -- from dry storage under the sun room to a yoga studio in the attic.
